Explosive Gel

This simple device is rather like a caulk gun. The device itself is only worth 100 credits; the cost includes a three-pack of gel canisters.

The gun emits a thick gel, which sticks readily to almost any surface (via Van Der Waals attraction). The pressure is low; the gel oozes out, it does not spray. The trigger controls the flow of gel, allowing for precision work, or for quick-and-dirty slathering.

All 3 gel types contain micro-machines which are sensitive to radio broadcasts. This allows the gun to serve as a remote control. The machines are sophisticated enough to know how to group individual "blotches" of gel into discrete entities. Thus, you can separately control up to 3 different gel applications with the remote control on the handle, at distances up to 50 meters.

There are three types of gel. The effect listed describes the detonation of a single application:

When purchased, the gun comes with 1 canister of each the three types of gel. Each canister is good for 10 applications. The replacement cost of a single canister is 1,000 credits (Restricted); this is mostly due to the complex nano-electronics involved.
